Dear Mr. Zhang,

I heard you are looking for students who can home stay exchange students from Canada. I hope I can have the chance. I believe my family is able to be the host family because of the following reasons.

To begin with, my fluent spoken English enables me to communicate with Canadian students well. Moreover, I live in a 3-bedroom apartment close to school. Rather than take crowded buses, we may walk to school.

Besides, my father and mother also like to have guests become one of the family members. And as I often help with household chores, I know how to take care of the Canadian students.

Also, I plan to take the homestay students out to some places of interest like the Oriental TV Pearl Tower to provide the homestay student the chance of experiencing the developing Shanghai.

I am sure the Canadian student will relax and have fun in the two-week homestay with us.
