My visit to the scenic spot of San Tan

As we all known, people tend to visit a cool scenery to escape from the extreme hot weather, least of all me. Out of question, at the end of summer, I went to visit the scenic spot of San Tan with my sisters. Even though the early autumn was around the corner, the high temperature didn’t have the tendency to come down at all. But when I stepped into the entrance of the San Tan, I abandoned all and make a commitment to the scenery. To my amazed, I felt every pore in my body breathing in pleasure: the green made me drunk; fresh air calm down; and the cool breeze flying.

We began the trip to the San Tan with the sunrise gilding the sky at about 7:00pm. At this time, the light blue sky was dotted with the tier of colorful clouds. And the valley was still fall asleep in the arms of mountains. Driving on the road, we found that all tree were playing hide-and-seek in the mist. Sometimes they turn up clearly in front of us and sometimes it was in vain for us to find them hardly. Along the other side of the road, there is a crystal brook from the majestic mountains and valleys of green murmuring. Hearing the sound of running water which sometimes is mingled with the some fitful bird song, I was just like in the music hall of nature.

About an hour, we arrived at the San Tan. The scenery was more beautiful than what I had seen along the road. Besides under water that was clear as glass the lake was carpeted with green waterweeds, the whole scenic spot was full of bamboo. Looking at the first sight, all is green. Green grass, green water, green

bamboo and green mountains, all of those consisted of the wonderful fairyland. We couldn’t help the temptation of them and first rented a bamboo raft floating randomly on the lake. Feeling the air and sunlight on our skin and enjoying the cool touch of the breeze and water at the feet were the most extravagant things to me. Having played in the lake for an hour, we chose to explore more interesting in this scenic spot of San Tan.

When the time came to 11 O’clock, the weather was too hot to stay under the sun. Therefore, we walked freely on the mountain path. In summer, especially lush vegetation, the shiny leaves on mountains, tree with luxuriant foliage on the both sides of path, give people put up a thick green shade. Walking with enjoying, just like that, I didn’t know what the end was, but my heart faintly realized that there was a surprise waiting for me. Sure enough, at the end of the path was a waterfall. Although I had seen many waterfalls, but it was the first one I want to use “beautiful” to describe rather than “spectacular”. Because it not only had the curvaceous beauty of female but also had the slender beauty. Compared with other waterfalls’ splendor, the waterfall in the San Tan was more elegant and just like a beauty lied on her bed of mountains.

As the noontime coming, we had to come back according the original road. Nonetheless, when I entered it again, I gained some new awareness of its beauty and its deeper meanings, sensing that intricate fabric of life by which one creature was linked with another, and each with its surroundings.
