D: Easter is a Christian holiday celebrating how Jesus Christ was dead for three days, but then came back to life! Because of this, Easter is one of the most important Christian holidays. Outside of the Christian faith, Easter is a celebration of Spring and rebirth. Eggs, chicks, and rabbits are all symbols of Spring in Western culture.

On Easter Morning in America, kids wake up to find that the Easter Bunny came and left them baskets filled with candy! The kids then go outside to look for the plastic or decorated eggs he left for them, hoping to find even more candy. Many times, mommies and daddies help their kids decorate eggs by dipping them in food dye or painting them. We call these decorated eggs Easter Eggs.
