As I entered middle school, I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. I was excited to meet new friends and learn new things, but I was also nervous about the new environment and expectations. However, as I settled into my new routine, I realized that middle school was not as daunting as I had imagined.
One of the biggest differences between elementary and middle school was the amount of homework. In elementary school, I rarely had homework, but in middle school, I had homework every night. At first, I struggled to manage my time and complete all of my assignments, but I soon learned to prioritize and schedule my work. I also learned to ask for help when I needed it, whether it was from my teachers or my classmates.
Another big change was the variety of classes I took. In elementary school, I had the same teacher for most subjects, but in middle school, I had different teachers
for each subject. This meant that I had to adjust to different teaching styles and expectations. Some teachers were more strict than others, and some classes were more challenging than others. But I found that I enjoyed the variety and the opportunity to learn from different perspectives.
Middle school also gave me more opportunities to get involved in extracurricular activities. I joined the school band and the science club, and I also participated in a community service project. These activities not only allowed me to pursue my interests, but they also helped me make new friends and develop new skills.
Overall, my experience in middle school has been positive. I have grown academically, socially, and personally, and I am excited to see what the rest of my middle school journey has in store for me.
