话题：当代社会男人压力大还是女人压力大

正方一辩：我方观点是当今社会男人的压力比女人的压力大。在当今社会事实是男人承受的压力远大于女人的压力，不仅从社会角度，从工作角度，从家庭角度都对男人有更多的要求，男人被要求能够很好的处理社会交际，能够出色的工作，能够赚取更多的钱，能够很好的照顾家庭和孩子。因此，在当代社会，男人承受了比女人更多的心理压力。

Our view is that the pressure of men is more than women in today's society. The fact is that the men’s pressure is far greater than women, not only from a social point of view, from the working point of view, from the families point of view , the society has more demands on men, men are required to have good social communication, excellent work, to earn more money, to take care of their families. Therefore, in contemporary society, men suffer more psychological pressure than women.

反方一辩:我方的观点是当今社会女人的压力比男人压力大，随着社会的发展，女人在社会中的角色发生了重大变化，原来的女人只需要在家相夫教子就行，但是那个年代早已一去不复返了。女人在当今社会不仅要照顾家庭，而且自身也承担着社会中巨大的工作压力，因此，我方坚持认为在当今社会，女人承受了更大的压力。

正方二辩： 当今社会对男人的要求比女人的要求高很多，在如今如此大的竞争压力下，男人为了家庭不得不寻求一份稳定的工作，努力赚取养家的资本，哪怕在工作中不如意，也只能默默承受。因为一旦男人失去了工作，整个家庭将陷入严重的危机，这使得男人承受了巨大压力的同时也不敢轻易更换不如意的工作。因此，当代社会男人承受比女人更大的压力。

In today's society, requirements on men is much higher than women's, under so much competitive pressures, The man have to find a stable job for the family, to earn more money to support his families. Even if he is unhappy at work, he must endure. The reason is once the men lose their jobs, the whole family will be plunged into serious trouble, which makes the man under great pressure, while also not easy to replace unsatisfactory work. Therefore, men suffer greater pressure than women in contemporary society.

反方一辩：正如正方所言社会对我们给了我们更多的要求以及更大的压力。仅仅工作一项就使得我们难以喘息，更何况当代社会女人不仅自己要努力工作，承担社会给予的巨大压力，而且更多地要承担几乎整个家庭生活所给的压力。每天要做饭，洗衣服，照顾丈夫孩子，这些事已经使得女人忙得黑白颠倒，再加上工作上的巨大压力，使得当代女人超额承受着巨大的压力。

正方一辩：当然，你说得非常有道理，但是所有的前提是女人自己来选择。如果女人感到压力大，她可以从二中选一，可以回归家庭来减轻自身压力，而男人别无选择，他们即使遇到这种超额的压力，唯一的选择就是忍受、承担，从而使之承受了不仅是工作的压力，而且还有很大的心理负担。

话题：是否应该继续保留英语四级考试

正方一辩：在应届毕业生求职的条件中，英语四级是相对重要的一项，也常作为各大毕业院校对于毕业的首要条件。在许多企业都将其当作为招聘的起步门槛，对于大多数的职位，英语已经成为一种必备的职业素质，自然被企业普遍地采用为招聘的考察项目。英语四级考试不仅是对在校大学英语技能的考核，而且是以后就业的前提条件。因此我方认为大学英语四级考试应该继续保留。

In many graduates seeking jobs in the hard conditions, CET4 is relatively important. often the major graduate institutions as a prerequisite for graduation. Many companies will start their recruitment as a threshold, for most positions, English has become an essential professional quality, naturally companies

generally adopted as the recruitment of the study projects. English Test is not only a school assessment of English skills, but also a prerequisite for future employment. Therefore we believe that CET -4 should be maintained.

反方一辩：我方认为应该取消大学英语四级考试。大学英语四级考试仅仅只能体现出考生的英语考试水平和答题能力，它并不能代表考生整体的英语水平和平时的英语交际能

力。在当代社会，英语固然重要，但是强制性的考试来充斥整个大学英语学习，花费学生大量精力和时间来通过这个考试，是完全没有意义的。

We think that we should abolish CET-4. CET-4 can only reflect the

candidates’ level of English test and answering capabilities. It does not imply that a candidate s‘ English level and English communicating skills in long view. In modern society, English is essential. But there is no need to require students to spend a lot of energy and time adopting this test.

正方二辩：就工作本身的要求来看，企业中有些岗位要求你能够熟练掌握英语，有些岗位几乎不会涉及到英语的应用，但你进入企业以后，从事的岗位调换是最常见的，所以为了应对岗位的不断变化，英语是必不可少的，确实英语四级考试只是一种方式，企业如何知道你的英语水平，大学英语四级考试就成为了一个衡量的标尺，至少目前为止，没有比大学英语四级更好的方式。

The requirements of the work itself, some positions in enterprises require you to master the English language. Some positions involve almost no application of English. However, after you entering the enterprise, the post exchange is the most common. So, in response to the changing position ,English is significant. English test is indeed a way of the enterprises know that your English level and CET -4 become a benchmark to measure. At least ,there is no better than the CET-4 now.

反方二辩：就如你方所强调的英语很重要，设立了大学英语四级考试这个必过门槛，

导致了许多学生在大学期间花费了将近一半或者更多的时间在学习英语，而最后还是没过英语四级，因而导致大量的学生在大学期间并未学到很多专业知识，对于专业知识没有很好的掌握导致就业到处碰壁，从而引发了严重的社会就业问题，不是企业不需要人，而且找不到能够满足企业需求的人才。

As you have stressed the importance of English, CET-4 was established as a threshold, leading to many students spent nearly half or more of their time in learning English, but at last they failagain and again. 反方三辩：事实胜于雄辩，现在阶段的大学英语学习状况是大部分学生为了过四级而放弃了更多的掌握专业知识，因为四级证是他们拿到毕业证的前提条件。

反方三辩：正如你方所言，很多企业把入门门槛就定了英语四级，从而筛选掉了许多可能具备专业知识，也许是英语水平不高或者只是四级考试时候没有发挥好的人才。这样对社会对企业岂不都是一大损失。

Stressed on this English test make our students ignore the importance of professional capabilities and master the ability to blinding pursue the English exam, This is the development of society that affect the final actual level of English skills and the communication between us has not been more improved. existence, therefore, we must insist that the CET-4 should be abolished.
